Rooms

The hotel boasts 44 spacious and beautifully appointed Deluxe rooms. The en-suite bathrooms in both the Deluxe rooms and the historical Churchill suite also offer high tech hydromassage showers. The 38 standard rooms retain their old style at fantastic rates and the view from the third and fourth floors are magnificent. The eaves rooms are small but perfectly appointed with the perfect picture postcard vista projected through the window.

The Restaurant

Our traditional Italian food makes our restaurant a must while in lake Maggiore. The Restaurant is open for lunch between 12:00 and 14:00 ( reservation required )  We also have a snack bar service in the terrace .
Arrive at 19:00 and indulge in a delectable snack with your cocktail of choice at the bar. The Lido Cosmopolitan is well known throughout the region – the restaurant remains open until 21:00 in the evening.

  • This place is quite simply amazing, don't listen to the few spoilers and their misery guts! It has a family run charm that you just don't get in the huge chains. It was spotlessly clean and all of the staff were happy, friendly and attentive.

  • Delightful hotel, its like staying in a stately home, period furniture and chandeliers all very nice, and yes some areas could do with a little TLC but nothing to spoil the whole grander of the hotel. The Churchill connection is excellent. The staff are exceptional, especially Elena who seems to do everything in the restaurant.

  • A wonderful hotel with plenty of character think of a mixture of the marigold hotel the grand budapest hotel with just a hint of faulty towers and you are there. It was very quiet when we were there which caused very little atmosphere but when its busy we're sure its wonderful.
